Hendricks Commercial Properties recently bought the 110,000-square-foot light industrial property at 505 S. Wuthering Hills Drive in Janesville. The facility is mostly vacant, but a local company that is expanding and needs more space plans to lease most of the building, a Hendricks Commercial Properties official said.

A man credited with building hundreds of buildings that created thousands of jobs has been recognized posthumously. Donald Helgesen, founder of the Janesville-based Helgesen Buildings, Helgesen Properties and Helgesteel Corp., recently was named to the 2014 Commercial Real Estate Hall of Fame.
